Proviso East’s Nicholas Brown Is Drawing Division I Interest
Brian Stinnette May 9, 2003 Proviso East’s Nicholas Brown is drawing interest from a number of Division I college basketball programs. Brown, a 6-6 small forward, told Chicago Hoops that he is looking to work on his jump shot and his defense this summer. An unselfish player, Brown understands that his size dictates that he plays a lot on the interior during the high school season. However, he is using the spring and summer to put his wing skills on display. Brown is drawing interest from Wright State, Ball State, Vermont, New Hampshire and Northern Illinois. Brown is a prospect with a very nice upside to his game. Look for Brown’s prospect ranking to rise as the AAU season rolls on. |
