Chicago Bulls Have 4.4% Chance Of Landing Lebron James

April 17, 2003

The Chicago Bulls finished the season with a 30-52 record. Their record translates into the Bulls having a 4.4% chance of grabbing the #1 pick in the 2003 NBA draft, and winning the Lebron James sweepstakes.

The Bulls future now appears to be quite bright as Jamal Crawford, Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler all appear to be developing into star-caliber players. Before being injured, Marcus Fizer had emerged as an offensive force inside, and April was the best month of season for Jay Williams, as he averaged 13 points and nearly 5 assists per contest.

Adding James to the Bulls loaded young roster would send Chicago back into a basketball-frenzy. However, 17-year old Yugoslavian Darko Milicic, a 7-foot small forward, and 6-8 small forward Carmelo Anthony of Syracuse are also viewed as future stars in the NBA.

The draft lottery will be held on May 22.
