Kyle Carrabine: 2004 Prospect On The Rise

Brian Stinnette
February 25, 2003

Neuqua Valley’s Kyle Carrabine is a 2004 prospect who could see his stock rise dramatically over the course of the next year.

Carrabine, a junior, is a 6-6 shooting guard. He is a big time shooter who specializes in launches bombs from behind the three-point arc. Carrabine shoots with both range and accuracy.

Carrabine averages about 10 points per game for a Neuqua Valley team that is dominated by seniors. Next year, his scoring average could double, when he becomes Neuqua’s primary offensive weapon.

Already 6-6, Carrabine may still have another inch or two of growth left in him. He needs to get stronger, and improve his ability to beat his man off the dribble. A number of mid-majors have Carrabine on their radar screens. However, Carrabine’s size and shooting ability could also attract some high major interest this summer.
