Former Marian Catholic star Cedrick Middleton is playing a key role for prep school power Brewster Academy. Middleton is Marian Catholic’s all-time leading scorer, and was an all-state performer as a senior.
Middleton, a 5-11 point guard, is known for his ability to shoot with both range and accuracy. Brewster currently sports a record of 10-2, and Middleton regularly ranks among the team leaders in both scoring and assists.
The Brewster Academy roster is loaded with future Division I players including Illinois native Coley LeClair (American), Marcus Hammond (College of Charleston), Adrian Joseph (Virginia) and Joel Smith (Washington).
Middleton currently has scholarship offers on the table from Loyola, Wright State, and the University of Maine. Middleton is drawing interest from a number of other schools, and his recruiting should continue to heat up as the season progresses.
