Paris Parham Jr. Is Sizzling At St. John’s Military Academy (WI)

Former Illinois high school standout Paris Parham Jr. is in the midst of a strong postgraduate season at St. John’s Military (WI) and continues to raise his recruiting stock.

Parham, a 6’3 guard, is a versatile backcourt talent with good size. Parham’s signature offensive weapon is his jump shot which he knocks down with range out beyond the three-point arc.

Parham knocked down 5 three-pointers en route to scoring 19 points to lead St. John’s Military to a win at the Spire Showcase on Friday night.

Parham has knocked down 5 or more three-pointers in 8 different games this season.

Parham, who has had a major growth spurt over the past couple of years, can play either backcourt position.

Parham is poised to see a spike in his recruiting and will be in action with St. John’s Military this weekend at the Spire Showcase and next weekend at the National Prep School Invitational in Rhode Island.

Belleville Althoff’s Jordan Goodwin To Have Surgery Ends Season, Career

Jordan Goodwin (St. Louis) became the all-time leading scorer and rebounder at Belleville Althoff on Tuesday night in what was the last game of his high school career. Goodwin will have surgery on his shoulder which will end his season.

Goodwin will have surgery later this week.

Goodwin led Althoff to the 3A state championship last year as a junior.

Goodwin broke the scoring record previously held by Kevin Lisch who starred at St. Louis as a collegian.

Goodwin continued to play after dislocating his shoulder earlier in the month against East St. Louis. The shoulder had been a lingering issue for Goodwin who decided he couldn’t play through it any longer.
