Player Journal: Chicago Leo’s Frank Clair
Frank Clair September 30, 2003 Chicago Leo small forward Frank Clair, who ranks as one of the top Class of 2004 prospects in the state of Illinois, gives us an inside look at his summer, and his preparation for the upcoming season in his player journal. Earlier this week, Clair gave a verbal commitment to play next year for Rob Judson’s Northern Illinois Huskies. Chicago Leo returns all five starters from a year ago, and will be one of the favorites to win the Class A state championship. Here My Player Journal for this week. Hey what’s up everyone, the last three weeks have been great, I have been lifting and working on my ballhandling. I am also working on my jump shot which has been improving. School has been going very well. I have been working extremely hard in the classroom. I just got my progress report and it was good. This weekend I went to the Northern Illinois and Iowa State football game. Great game, and another win for the Huskies. The football team is nationally ranked as has wins this year over Maryland, Alabama and Iowa State. We just got a couple of more commitments from two really good players. Zach Pancratz and Craig Reichel of Schaumburg will be joining me at NIU. This is great, and I am really happy with the way our recruiting class is taking shape. This weekend I also had plans to play in the HSE tourney at Riverside-Brookfield. Well that’s all for now. Frank Clair Chicago Leo High School (P.S NIU will make the NCAA Tourney this year! Watch Out!) |
