The Illinois State Redbirds, and new head coach Porter Moser have secured a verbal commitment from Carbondale’s Justin Dentmon. Dentmon ranks as one of the the top Class of 2004 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Dentmon, a 6-0 point guard, is super-quick, and has a strong offensive skill package. Dentmon had a solid summer while playing on the AAU circuit with the Illinois Warriors. He was MVP of the St. Louis Eagles Invitational, and was also solid running the point for the Warriors at the Nike Memorial Day Classic.
