Dockery Getting Minutes Off Duke Bench Chicago Hoops
December 11, 2002

Former Chicago Julian star Sean Dockery is getting minutes off the bench for the Duke Blue Devils.

Dockery, a 6’2 point guard, is playing about 13 minutes per game backing up Daniel Ewing and Chris Duhon. He is averaging 5.4 ppg and 1.8 apg. In addition, he ranks fourth on the team in steals with 6.

Dcokery is part of a Duke freshman class considered to be the best group of incoming recruits in the country. Fellow freshman J.J. Redick, Shavlik Randolph, Sheldon Williams and Mike Thompson from New Lenox, IL figure to team with Dockery to have Duke in the thick of the NCAA title chase for the next few years.
