Versatile Jeremy Fears Poised For Success On The Next Level

Class of 2004 prospect Jeremy Fears, one of the most versatile players in the state of Illinois, is poised for success on the next level.

Fears, a 6-3 guard, averaged 20 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds per contest last year for Joliet Township. The highly versatile Fears is capable of playing the 1, 2 or 3 spots on the basketball court.

Fears told Chicago Hoops that he feels that point guard is his best position, and that he sees himself as a point guard on the next level. He views his ability to run a team as one of the strongest assets that he brings to the floor.

A devasting combination of size, skill and athleticism, Fears will be a Top 10 Class of 2004 prospect if his strong play continues through the summer. Currently, Fears is focusing on improving his jump shot and his overall skills on the basketball floor.

Purdue, Ball State and Southwest Missouri State are among the schools showing a lot of interest in Fears. Nebraska and Wyoming may also be looking to get into the mix.
