Here is a listing of the top players who will be in action at the Chicago Gordon Tech Sectional in the Illinois Class AA State Tournament. Jamarcus Ellis, Ollie Bailey, Chris Singletary and Sherron Collins head the list. Players are listed alphabetically complete with a scouting report.

Rutgers recruit. A strong and powerful prescence in the paint. Enjoys contact and banging inside. Enjoying a very strong senior season.
Jason Bowden-Key 2004 6-1 Shooting Guard Chicago Prosser
A shooter with range. Capable of scoring in bunches.
Alex Brzozowicz 2005 6-2 Guard/Forward Chicago St. Ignatius
Very nice player. A big factor in St. Ignatius’ strong season.
Sherron Collins 2006 5-10 Point Guard Chicago Crane
A superb floor leader. Has skills and passing instincts far beyond his years. Always delivers the basketball exactly where it is supposed to be.
Patrick Curry 2004 5-10 Point Guard Chicago Orr
Super-quick point guard capable of putting up big numbers.

A long and athletic post. Solid rebounder capable of mixing it up inside.

A true “power” guard. Mature beyond his years. An overpowering player when the ball in his hands.
DeAndre Thomas 2005 6-7 Power Forward Chicago Westinghouse
Big and strong inside. Capable of dominating the post when he gets an adequate amount of touches.
Michael Thompson 2007 5-10 Shooting Guard Chicago Lincoln Park
Just a freshman. Better than 18 points per contest.
