Indiana Continues To Show Interest In Anthony Harris

April 1, 2003

Although primarily focused on landing another big man this spring, the Indiana Hoosiers remain interested in possibly bringing Chicago Whitney Young’s Anthony Harris on board.

Indiana has a number of scholarships available this spring, and has made signing an impact post player a priority. They recently brought in 6-10 prep school center Alexander Johnson for an official visit. Signing Johnson is the top priority for the Hoosiers this spring.

Indiana’s interest in Harris picked up after freshman forward Darryl Pegram transferred out of the program. Indiana’s offensive system is centered around it’s guards, and the offensive-minded Harris would be a nice fit.

Harris, who is drawing interest from a number of high majors, including Memphis, will visit the Indiana campus later this month.
