Illinois Warriors 17-U Bring Much Talent As Usual
Chicago Hoops April 7, 2003 6-6 small forward DeAaron Williams of Bartonville-Limestone and 6-7 small forward Eric Vierneisel of Jacobs headline the roster of the 17-U Illinois Warriors. The Warriors will be split into two teams. Williams and Vierneisel will be joined on one team by 6-5 superstar freshman Jon Scheyer of Glenbrook North and 6-1 point guard Justin Dentman of Carbondale. Other players in the Warriors 17-U stable include 6-8 power forward Ian Jones of Reavis, 6-7 power forward Cyrus Tate of Homewood-Flossmor, 6-5 forward Phil Wallace of Crystal Lake South, 6-6 power forward Albert Reese of Proviso West, 6-3 guard Sterling Williams of Whitney Young, 6-5 small forward Mark Gant of Oswego, 6-0 point guard Clint Kilbert of Dundee-Crown, 6-1 point guard Jarrett Starwood of Waubonsee Valley, 6-1 shooting guard Jason Key of Chicago Prosser, 6-3 shooting guard Travis Leonard of Mahomet-Seymour, 5-10 point guard Julian Lott of Zion-Benton and other standout players from around the state of Illinois The Warriors 16-U and 15-U stable includes 6-7 small forward Julian Wright of Homewood-Flossmor, 5-11 guard Will Walker of Romeoville and 6-2 shooting guard Chris Singletary of Chicago Farragut.
