Illinois State Fires Coach, Staff
Chicago Hoops March 13, 2003 Illinois State has fired head basketball coach Tom Richardson and his staff. Illinois State finished the 2002-03 season with a record of 8-21. The 8-21 mark was the worst in Richardson’s four year tenure at the school. The team’s prospects did look improved next year with the addition of Najeeb Echols. Echols is a former Chicago high school basketball star who has transferred into the Redbird program from Missouri. |
