Simply put Peoria Central point guard Shaun Livingston is just a special, special player. In the EA Sports Roundball Classic, Livingston put his incredible point guard skills on display, and did nothing but enhance his stock as an NBA prospect.

Sources confirmed that Livingston currently ranks as the top point guard prospect should he opt to enter the NBA draft instead of heading off to Duke. Dwight Howard, Josh Smith and Livingston are the top three high school prospects on the NBA radar screen. All project to go among the top 5 selections in the draft.

The United Center crowd anticipated good things happening every time Livingston touched the basketball, and he typically did not disappoint. In a game featuring the best high school basketball talent in country, Livingston sealed his position as one of the best.

After the game, Livingston spoke highly of the Duke basketball program, and said he was looking forward to getting on campus. However, he also told ChicagoHoops.com that he knows that high school all-star games can significantly raise the stock of a player. Earlier, he told ChicagoHoops.com that he would sit down with his family and coaches after the all-star games were over and make a decision on his basketball future.

This summer, Livingston plans to work on improving his physique. He also says that he is looking to improve his quickness, agility and balance. He feels comfortable with his mid-range jumper, but wants to work hard on improving the range on his jumper.
