The Class of 2006 is starting to take form, and appears to be loaded Division I basketball talent. A new name to add to the list of standout prospects for the Class of 2006 is Chicago Washington’s Mario Little.
Little, a 6-4 sophomore small forward, plays on the AAU circuit for Larry Butler’s Illinois Warriors. Little is both strong and athletic. He is a strong rebounder with a nose for getting his hands on the basketball. Little can handle the basketball, and has better than average passing skills. He is equally comfortable knocking down mid-range jumpers, and slashing to the hole.
Last year, Little played in the shadow of star guard Courtney Horton. He has the potential to emerge as one of the better 2006 prospects on the AAU circuit this summer, and should emerge as a star in the Public League for Washington next year.
