Mundelein’s Matt Corning is weighing his collegiate options. Corning, arguably the top player in Lake County, has a number of schools in hot pursuit of his services.
Corning, a 6-4 guard/forward averaged better than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this year for Mundelein. The highly versatile Corning does whatever it takes on the court to help his team win basketball games. In addition to his prowess on the basketball court, Corning is a standout academically. He scored a 31 on his ACT!
Corning recently enjoyed his visit to the University of Rochester in the state of New York. Rochester competes in the University Athletic Association, one of the toughest Division III basketball conferences in the country. Corning is also considering both the University of Chicago and Illinois Wesleyan.
