“Next LeBron James” Transfers To Ohio School

O.J. Mayo, considered by many to be the top eighth-grader in the United States, has transferred from a school in Kentucky to North College Hill, which sits just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. Some have hailed Mayo as the “next LeBron James”.

Mayo, a 6-5 swingman, played varsity high school basketball as both a seventh and eighth-grader. He averaged better than 20 points per game both years. Two summers ago Mayo guided his 13-under AAU team to a National Championship.

Mayo is already garnering massive amounts of attention. At least one Cincinnati television station covered his first day of classes at his new school.
