Cedrick Middleton Eyeing Division I Scholarship

Chicago Hoops
March 6, 2003

Now that his basketball career at Marian Catholic is over, Cedrick Middleton is looking to move on to the world of Division I college basketball.

Middleton, a 6-0 combination guard, closed out his senior season averaging about 24 points per game. He clearly stood out as the best player on a basketball team that finished the season at 13-13.

Although he has built up a reputation as a shooter, point guard is Middleton’s likely position at the next level. Middleton’s strong lower physique, and solid fundamentals will help ease his transition.

Middleton told Chicago Hoops that he doesn’t expect to join his brother Roderick at the University of Buffalo. He says that he doesn’t have a leader right now, but is getting interest from a couple of schools in the Mid-American Conference. He is now ready to focus his attention on selecting a college now that the high school season is over.
