Jordan Morris Transferring To Pekin

Chicago Hoops
June 10, 2003

Jordan Morris, who averaged nearly 17ppg as a sophomore at Washington High School, is transferring to Pekin. Pekin will now boast a formidable trio of Morris, Jeremy Crouch and Matt Hagen.

Morris, a 6-2 guard known for his ability to score, will go a long way toward alleviating some of the scoring pressure off of current Pekin star Jeremy Crouch. Crouch, a 2004 prospect, has already given a verbal commitment to play for Jim Les and Bradley.

The addition of Morris puts Pekin in position to make some serious noise in 2003-04. With Morris and Crouch roaming the perimeter, and 6-9 Matt Hagen inside, Pekin figures to be one of the most balanced teams in the state.
