Zach Pancratz Continues To Step Up In Big Games

Brian Stinnette
June 16, 2003

Schaumburg shooting guard Zach Pancratz continues to step up and play well in big games this spring.

Playing without Craig Reichel, the 6-3 Pancratz singlehandedly kept Schaumburg competitive in a loss to West Aurora at the Peoria Richwoods Shootout on Sunday. Pancratz bombed West Aurora for six three-point baskets in a losing effort.

Pancratz’s offensive effort was even more impressive considering the fact that he had to guard an extremely active Justin Cerasoli on the defensive end of the court. Cerasoli was very much on his game, and looked to score every time he touched the basketball.

Earlier this spring, in a match-up with Ft. Sooy, Pancratz kept Schaumburg First Class close with an arsenal of three’s, mid-range jumpers and drives to the hole.

Pancratz has definetely pushed his stock up with strong play this spring.
